I am proud to be Maine made. I attended Maine Maritime Academy where I earned my BS in Marine Biology. When I wasn't studing you could find me playing basketball and spending endless time diving Maine waters. During my undergraduate education I spent a summer in Anacortes, Washington where I dove the Puget Sound and studied the feeding habits of the red octopus. My veterinary education and love for travel took me to Grenada, West Indies where I studied veterinary medicine at Saint Georges University for 3 years. Here I continued to dive, hunt lion fish and take part in multiple One Health One Medicine clinics which were free vaccination clinics for the local families and their pets. During these years I spent my summer of 2017 in the beautiful African country of Malawi volunteering at the Lilongwe Wildlife Center. What a trip! My fourth and final year of study took me to Cornell University where I obtained my clinical experience and completed a great deal of work with dairy cattle.
I thoroughly enjoy the central Maine community and take great pride in caring for our local families' pets and loved ones. When I am not busy doing housecalls or seeing pets at At Home Veterinary Care facility you can find my family enjoying time off at camp, hiking and gardening. We are joined by our goofy greyhound (Bobo) and flock of laying hens to keep us company at our Manchester home. I am thankful for the love and support from my husband and 2 lovely girls who continue to keep me exceptionally busy when not caring for your pets.
