Jillian Crutchfield, DVM

I am proud to be Maine made. I attended Maine Maritime Academy where I earned my BS in Marine Biology and played 4 years of collegian basketball. During my undergraduate education I spent a summer in Anacortes, Washington where I dove the Puget Sound and studied the feeding habits of the red octopus. My veterinary education and love for travel took me to Grenada, West Indies where I studied veterinary medicine at Saint Georges University for 3 years. Here I continued to dive, hunt lion fish and take part in multiple One Health One Medicine clinics which were free vaccination clinics for the local families and their pets. During these years of travel I spent my summer of 2017 in the beautiful African country of Malawi volunteering at the Lilongwe Wildlife Center. What a trip! My fourth and final year of study took me to Cornell University where I attained my clinical experience and completed a great deal of work with dairy cattle.

I could not be more thrilled to join the At Home Veterinary Care team who are a group of caring and passionate individuals who take true pride in caring for our communities pets. My boyfriend, Nicholas, our Husky (Annie) and myself are happy to now call Manchester home. We look forward to weekends at camp, hiking and enjoying some down home cooking!
